Facts- There was an experiment to see how Mars explorers would react to challenges they would when on mars. So NASA threw six people into a dome in a side of a volcano in Hawaii to do a isolation experiment. The dome was built to give a sense of what it would be like on Mars. Things that we’re used to every day will not be available to them like fresh water, air and privacy.  They need to know how people deal with it which is estimated between  1 and 3 years. Everyone is taking the experiment seriously so if you wanted to go outside you’d have to wear space suits.
